Allens remote skin cancer assessment
A skin cancer check is a comprehensive assessment designed to identify any signs of skin cancer. Regular skin checks are vital, as they can pinpoint early signs of skin diseases (i.e. melanoma) before they become too advanced.
Did you know that alarmingly 2/3 Australians will develop skin cancer by the age of 70?
Melanoma is the third most common cancer in both men and women, with over 14,000 new cases each year!
Following some of the Covid-19 limitations, we will be conducting skin cancer checks for Allens employees a little differently to ensure we all stay safe. For 2020 we have worked hard to develop our remote skin cancer assessments, conducted using your mobile phones and a portable dermatoscope!

What to expect:
- Register via form
- You will be emailed (separately) a unique download code for app
- Download DermEngine app using this code
- Watch instructional videos on how to complete check
- Complete remote skin check during the time period
- You will receive a notification when your check has been completed. You will also receive a personalised report with recommendations from the expert Dermatoscopist that has reviewed your images
- Keep your dermatoscope. You can take and store photos in the app after the program has run 🙂
